Potassium clavulanate

Clavulanate 2We are pleased to advise that we can now supply pure Potassium clavulanate in standard packs of 5 g and 50 g for diagnostic applications. This is a β-lactamase inhibitor used clinically in conjunction with β-lactam antibiotics, typically Amoxycillin and Ticarcillin to improve efficacy against resistant strains. Potassium clavulanate is hazardous for shipping so it is usually supplied as a mixture with inert materials making it easier to ship. As a result the pure product, required for diagnostic applications, is less commonly available. Please contact us with your requirements.
